Seafield House is a great B&B: it's very clean and comfortable, and is ideally located for seeing Alnmouth and the surrounding country. Jenny Trapp is very welcoming.

Stayed at Seafield House for 2 nights in Sep 08. Found it to be very comfy and welcoming. The room and en-suite were spotless and modern but in keeping with the georgian origins of the house. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied, hearty and cooked to order - plenty to keep you going for the day.... More

Jenny has thought of everything to make this a wonderful place to stay . I stayed in the single room overlooking the lovely garden, very peaceful, immaculately clean and comfortable. I will recommend Seafield House to friends and family without any hesitation . The little touches are what makes it so special, from the tray under the bed for your... More

For a genuinely warm and friendly welcome you will not beat that provided by Jenny Trapp at Seafield House in my opinion. The standard of accommodation is excellent and good value for money. The breakfasts are outstandingly good and generous so you will need to walk or exercise that little bit more.

We have just returned from spending two nights in this delightful part of the world. Jenny and Duncan have a lovely home which they are genuinely happy to share with their guests. It was a real pleasure to spend time there. The visitors book is full of praise ...as one guest wrote it is more like a five star hotel... More

Can only agree with previous review by JWDavies. However let's keep Almnouth and Seafield House as our little secret, we don't want everyone to know how good it is.

Stayed two nights but could have stayed longer ! Tastefully refurbished, generously sized bedroom and ensuite and a very warm welcome. Excellent breakfast with locally sourced food. Nice little touches, e.g choice of morning newspaper. Excellent lounge area and stunning view of the estuary from the patio. Only minor irritation - parking difficult when Alnmouth is busy. Overall an excellent... More

Seafield house has a wonderful blend of character and comfort. On the night we arrived we were met by the owners Jenny and Duncan and treat to tea and cakes on the patio, whilst our cases were moved into the rooms. The view from the patio overlooks the garden and onto the river Aln, bordered by 17the' century properties and... More
