If you can handle the treck back up the hill from the seaside restaurants (recommend the Harbour Inn by the way) on a full stomach, then this is a very special B&B and well worth considering. more

I am more used to the facilities of a hotel but the room was much nicer than many hotels I have stayed in, its not huge but has all you need and is well presented. Stayed in the Topaz room for 2 nights 25 & 26 September. All the rooms were occupied (7or 8 I think). The standard of furnishing is very high and it is light, bright and very tasteful. 10 out of 10 for this. Breakfast is very good, served in the dining room / conservatory. We stayed at the Westwood for two nights over the Bank Holiday Weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Lavinia the owner, is marvellous, she has got everything absolutley spot on.
