Just spent a weekend at the Harrabeer Country House, a little gem of a place set in the valley in Yelverton. The hosts could not have been more attentive, their saying is "if you want something, just ask". A more better weekend could not have been found anywhere. The breakfast is to die for, such variety, enough to last you... More

My son and I were making a quick trip down to Dartmoor, to help clear away some cobwebs, and spend some time together. Harrabeer House was the perfect place to stay, and the hosts, Michael and Amanda were kind, sensitive and warm. The bedrooms were beautifully presented and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Excellent ratings... More

Took my Mum here in Janurary for one evening while we walked the moors. Excellent value and very comfy stay. The hotel is clean, cosy and well appointed. Great full English and bar to sit around in and chat to the early hours. Highlight was the friendly owners who were great fun and clearly enjoy having people to stay. Will... More

I stay away on business on average twice a week, traveling all over the country. It’s not often that I take the time out to write a review, but felt that I really should for this particular “Home from home”. Whether you stay here on business or for pleasure, for one night or a week, you are guaranteed to leave... More

We've stayed here on a couple of occasions now - which is unusual as we don't tend to stay in the same place more than once. Both times we have been made to feel very welcome and the owners could not have done more for us. It is set just off of a main road so while it is convenient... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2012 (along with 6 other family members). This is a great b&b the hosts are second to none, really could not do enough to make our stay comfortable without imposing on us. We ate on our first evening at the Rock Inn very close by - good food at... More

My partner parked up to be greeted by Michael the owner...He gave us a very warm welcome followed by offering to take both our bags into the hotel! As soon as he placed our bags down, he offered us a drink straight away....The cup of tea and the selection of biscuits were devine!! He then showed us both to our... More

We stayed at Harrabeer because we were forced to. Honest - it was as a M&S gift for a night's B&B in a National Park and Harrabeer was closest we could get to Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. So we tagged on two extra nights, by was that a brilliant decision!! Bit surprised to find according to TA... More

We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome from Amanda and Michael. We were then offered a seat in the garden with a pot of tea and biscuits, fabulous after the drive. The room was spotless, very comfortable bed, and such a lovely house. What wonderful warm and friendly owners, such a genuinely lovely couple. We felt so at home,... More
