A brilliant pub with charm and character. Based in the village of Galmpton it benefits from a rural feel but is also just a stones throw from local beaches. The beer is always in tip top condition - Torbay's local beer Bays Gold highly recommended ;) The food was great, and the service always came with a smile. Steak and... More

This is a real Devon country pub, with a real Devon welcome. The food is excellent and freshly cooked, the staff very efficient but manage to combine that with seeming to have all the time in the world for you. The rooms are a perfect combination of character and modern convenience and are probably the cleanest rooms we have ever... More

I use the Manor for Christmas parties and meals. Giles and the team have always been able to accommodate our needs. A geat atmosphere and truly a local pub feeling - Thats what it is and thats what you get.

Had a lovey table for 2 by the fire. The food was very fulsome and flavourful, and the service was helpful and prompt. The rooms were cosy and felt as homely as they can. All in All, I highly recommend this wonderful little pub. If your passing its definitely worth a visit.

We were pleased to get the last car park space on a rainy Friday evening. The place was heaving at 7pm and seems to be a popular spot. There is a children friendly room which is a bit stark but also a number of tables in the bar. The menu looked pretty good although it was hard to get hold... More

After spending £60 on two adult and two child meals plus a single round of drinks we were told to get out as children were not aloud in. The food was very basic and everything was with chips (not even home made chips) the fish pie was more a cheese and smash pie with two scallops and a small bit... More

Bar staff were friendly, really chatty and made us feel so so welcome. Food was gorgeous and the special menu changed regularly which gave us plenty of choice thoughout our five night stay.... More
