I would recommenr this B&B to anyone wanting to see this beautiful part of the Lake District. The owners Sue and Bill are lovely and Kirky itself is stunnig. Excellent restaurants in the main street. more

In a marvellous town there has always been a surprising lack of quality in terms of accommodation. Attractive, well-equipped rooms with character as the house dates from the 17th century. This means the rooms are on the small side, but they have everything you need. Fantastic memory foam mattress on the bed made for a great night's sleep. Cheerful banter over a sociable and tasty breakfast. Definitely recommended. more

This is a 17th century inn with beamed ceilings recently renovated in 2008. The hosts, Bill and Sue, did everything they could to be accommodating. They did provide a private parking space at no extra charge. They called in a local historian to help with my genealogical inquiries.
