We received a warm welcome on arrival, and promptly showed to our room. The room overlooked the river and was superbly finished. The staff where extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Another short break at this wonderful place. I have noticed that the Scafell Hotel retains the people who work there, which must say something about the management. The result for the guest, is that when you return to the hotel, the welcome is very friendly.
