The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and the breakfast buffet was quite good. It is close to the beach, near the shopping and has hotel parking which requires the use of the car lift. That took some getting use to. more

Sayed at the Plaza Cavana last week in Septemeber, first week in October. Great central location. Room well appointed and very clean. Reception staff very friendly and helpfull. Restaurant staff too were very friendly and efficient. Would stay there again without any hesitation. more

Arrived in July 2009 for a 10 day stay in the Plaza Cavana in the heart of lovely Nerja. Lady at reception was very pleasant to us and we were allocated with a duplex room. Location The Plaza Cavana is very centrally located, being approximately 200m from the Balcon de Europa and the adjacent to the rear of the Church de Inglesia. Absolutey terrible, rooms small and very cramped and very poor and old bathroom facilities. Tried the restaurent on our first night, expensive and tasteless, had better TV dinners also very dirty linen and cutlery. Good location but very very substandard, we were not pleased and spent most of our time as far away from the hotel as we could get. more
