Hadn't stayed here for a couple of years. Cheap place to stay, not far from train or bus station. Now all the rooms have a different theme, love it.

El Cid hotel provides cheap accommodation in Fuengirola. Location is good - it's about 10 minutes walk from the beach and there're a lot of restaurants and cafes near by. The rooms are spacious; we had a tv-set, an AC and a balcony in our room. The main problem was about linen - it was clean but smelled with chlorine.

I appreciate we all have different ideas of what constitutes a good hostel, but please don`t consider staying here. We booked 9 nights through Hostel Bookers & stayed 30 minutes, 15 of those involving hotel clerk trying to find our booking details! We were directed to room, lift & coridors smelt awful, room like wise. Nothing like the pictures on...

There was a problem with my booking because at that time they were not affiliated with HostelBookers.com. They took this Hostel over from the old owners who just left it and ran in the night. They are working steadily to upgrade it and put it back into good condition. They refunded my deposit saying it was more important to have...
