The parador at Antequera is not a renovated old building as many paradors are, but a new construction, which provides largish comfortable rooms and attractive public areas -- though the minimalist-style dining room decor is a bit bleak.

A modern parador, and so visited for the town of Antequera itself, rather than any intrinsic interest in the parador building. (And the other hotels in town did not look particularly nice.) As recorded elsewhere, this is a pleasant enough hotel. We paid 115 Euros per night for 2 nights double, B&B. Sadly the breakfast catering seems to exist primarily for the benefit of the staff.
