Arrival at this hotel is shrouded in cigarette smoke...from the check in staff! Is there anyone to train these people into internationally acceptable standards? This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The toilet had not been properly cleaned. No hot water for 24 hours and and a receptionist who said there was no manager on duty to... More

The Hotel Palace is definitely grand and located in a park. It definitely felt like being back in another time, which we enjoyed. Our room was a good size and overlooked the park, which made up for an otherwise basic room. The staff at breakfast were not friendly. We arrived as breakfast started and they were more concerned with feeding... More

While I admit the place needs refurbishment, I would still give it five TA points for being the authentic "Old Europe". Built in connection to the nearby splendid Casino and for the Orient Express travelers in the first decades of the 20th century this property is like a trip back in time. Our room was huge and facing the park,... More

I recently stayed at this hotel in Sinaia. Overall, the hotel is beautiful - it's got a huge conference center next door with great lecture halls, etc. The front desk staff were great - they had excellent customer service, and I really appreciated their assistance. The hotel overall, was extremely smoky, which is not their fault (since Romania is the... More

As part of a tour stayed there for two nights. Our room was comfortable and clean if slightly small, on the street side of the property, and had too much furniture - a large dressing table, and three chairs (1 too many) two side tables, bedside units and a huge walldrobe. The hotel decorations were fresh and in keeping with... More

In spite of any of the bad reviews on this hotel, we found it lovely. Had a huge room/high ceiling facing the park, the place is clean, very classy fin-de-siecle architecture. Would recommend to anyone instead of the regular matchbox hotel rooms. Parking was no problem, we found a few spots right in front. did not use the restaurant except... More

I am very sorry that such a beautiful hotel is run by some people who have no ideea about management, investment or tourism. It is a scandal that they are allowed to keep this hotel ,which could be a beauty,in such a poor condition. Also to mention the low quality of meals and you have an image of Palace.

I stayed here for three days on a business travel, and it was a good thing I did not have to pay for this hotel. The only good thing is the great building, located in the center of Sinaia. For the rest, I wonder how they obtained the 4stars: the carpet was dirty, there was a hole in the floor... More

I had a terrible experience of this hotel, and never recommend any body to stay here. We, 20 members group on a bus arrived this hotel at 4:00 in the afternoon, 7 June, 2008. In front of the entrance, there is no space to unload passengers and luggage, except for a single lane street. The hotel bellboy asked our driver... More
