The hotel was and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The website was a little misleading as the Swimming pool and Gym are not on site, which is an inconvenience if you wish to avail of these facilities. Mayo, lovely place to visit.

Newport is a pretty small town but this is a very friendly and quality operation. Food & breakfast was outstanding and staff very friendly. Town is quiet out of season but it's a good location mid-way on the Greenway and much quiter than Westport.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival, mid-day Saturday. Very comfortable room. Excellent meals throughout our two-day stay. The staff are warm and friendly, highly motivated, and provide excellent service. Our cycle trip on the nearby 'Greenway' was facilitated in every way - bikes, packed lunches, drop-off and collect service. All in all, a wonderful short-stay. We're going back!

Stopped in for sunday lunch with all our family during easter. The food was great and it was roasting hot. Its a pet peeve, when food is served semi warm, but not this place. Service was rapid and friendly and they didn't linger around watching. Some of our group can be very picky, but we loved it and they were... More

We stayed for 2 nights as a family with 2 kids. The room was spacious and clean, beds were very good and could not hear a single sound from outside the room (although there was a band playing at the pub). Staff was very friendly, no matter who we talk with. We had two fine dinners at the pub, with... More

My husband , my son and I had a lovely meal in the bar at hotel newport. We were all very happy with our courses, the food was hot, very tasty and plenty of it. I would recommend eating here without hesitation. The waitress (Eva) was very friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stop off and eat!... More

We stayed here for a friends wedding over christmas, the hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere with absolutley nothing to do around it, but obviously thats not the hotels fault! The room was clean and good value but very cold the heat was not turned on and we stayed at xmas time! Our room was at the very... More
