My husband and I spent a long weekend in Sunville House recently and look forward to returning in the future. Our host, Anne, and her husband, gave us a warm welcome and offered us tea and scones on our arrival. Our room was beautiful, as nice as any hotel room we've stayed in in Ireland. We had a comfortable double... more

Well worth searching for this place - signposting to the guest house was somewhat lacking but this was all forgotten by the time we found it - a true hidden gem and would go back time and time again. Hospitality and friendliness was superb - the best that Ireland could offer! more

Was a great house to stay in, although out of the way. Scones and tea were very fine and was such that my friend Chris drank tea with her breakfast after that! Room was more than sufficient and phone and internet were unexpected pluses. Best time to travel in this neck of the woods is more towards summer. more

The hosts could not be faulted, this is a well kept, clean, comfortable B&B. It makes such a nice change to have freshly made scones on your arrival, accompanied by homemade jam and bread, and freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast. Just as everything should be. The best guest house on this trip. more

We got a little lost on our way to Ballycotton so had to call Anna and Patrick for some directions. Patrick couldn't have been more helpful and drove out to find us, despite it being 11.15 at night. On arrival we were greeted with a pot of tea and scones and made to feel very welcome. Our room was an... more

Simple, clean rooms. Very friendly owners. Lovely breakfasts (freshly squeezed orange juice). Incredibly quiet and peaceful location. Excellent scones! We've stayed at a number of B & Bs in Ireland and this one was our favourite. more
