I would describe this place as a simple motel, with very simple, though spacious, rooms. The place was very clean and comfortable. As a place to spend a night on the way to the next spot ib Iceland it's really okay. Breakfast was very poor. All in all it's a good value for money.

We booked a family room but were given 2 double rooms for the price of one which worked out fine. There was no down side to the Fosstun Apartments Hotel, easy parking, immaculately clean rooms with full well-equipped kitchens. We stayed here for one night and found the Fosstun perfect for our requirements. I took a class in Selfoss. During the three week course I stayed in Fosstun. The place was great, staff was happy to help and was very accommodating.

The location is great and in a less touristy area. It was great value for the money. We liked the kitchen in the room, huge bathroom with heated towel rack, and television. The hotel was very comfortable and the service from the staff was superb.

After 2 weeks in Iceland in accommodations with shared baths, it was exciting to find a place where private bathrooms are standard! We had a large room with a sitting area with couch, table, TV (that we couldn’t get turned on), 2 twin beds, and a kitchen. Very warm, comfortable, and clean. We were met by very friendly reception and shown to our room which was good sized (#112 facing on to the road). The apartment was easily big enough for 4. Stayed there two nights. Well located near nature atractions. Got a family room, very well equiped with kitchen, and good bads. High speed internet. Staff was very cooperative, helped with laundary and trip advice.
