Were booked here by Globus Tours. Amalia chain is owned by a tour company and hotels are designed for tour groups. This hotel is on the outskirts of the city of Kalambaka. Rooms were satisfactory. Food in restaurant was ample and of good quality.

We liked the place and the trees that have been planted around. Amalia Hotel is located 5 km from Meteora, far enough from the noisy Kalmpaka town and close enough for an excellent view of Meteora.The rooms are big and comfortable but breakfast can be better.

i stayed for one night in August while on a tour of Greece. the hotel is original, very large and has a wonderful garden. the ground floor rooms was great. the swimming pool was good. the breakfast was delicious. the rooms, bathrooms and the bad was very comfortable. Kalambaka is a fascinating place.

It's a very large hotel with a very nice restaurant. For us, it seemed a ranch style hotel with a lot of nature around. We stayed only one night there and it was very nice. Great place to stay with the rooms clean and the staff friendly. Too far out of town though - * Euro taxi trip. Rooms were neat and tidy and the atmosphere of the whole place was comforting and homely.

I love this hotel. Is one of my favorite in Greece. I really like the style of it. The rooms are very specious and clean, comfortable and warm. Food is excellant, staff is great.
