We drove into Eureka and were hoping to get a room at the same motel where we had stayed the last time we visited. We were sad to see that they had closed down. The recommendation to eat at Cafe Amore was perfect and provided a coupon for a discount on the meal. The hosts point you to other good restaurants close by. The robes were a nice touch. Stayed in a room on the back of the lodge, no noise from the road. more

My wife and I spent our anniversary here. What a totally satisfying experience. The "adults only" floor is a great concept with a 7-person Jacuzzi. The owners/innkeepers are new to the US from Switzerland, and bring a fresh perspective. Every need was accommodated. more
