Superb location in the centre of town but some of the rooms have a feeling of fading grandeur. The hotel obviously does very well out of British visitors and in catering for this market has lost something. We stayed one night here on our way to the ferry at Cherbourg which is about 16 miles or half an hour away by car, via the D900. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at L'Hostellerie du Chateau and absolutely loved it! The room was clean and comfortable and the entire property looked like something out of a fairy tale!
