Stayed here one night travelling in Burgundy and it was quiet, relaxing and friendly. Staff were helpful and the location is beautiful, gardens alongside the river. The restaurant food was really good, regional specialities beautifully cooked. Lovely place for a stopover.

The setting is truly idyllic, an old mill surrounded by gently flowing rivers, a terrace overlooking the mill to eat dinner and tables under the trees behind the mill to enjoy an aperitif or afternoon tea. Good hotel with helpful serviceminded staff. Mind you; the cheaper rooms are on the top of a long and narrow staircase - 3rd floor. If you have trouble with this, choose a (more expensive) room on the lower floors. Great restaurant, obviously also popular among locals. Quite pricey the menu was, but well worth it, I think.

This is a place where we always start our "Tour de France" for over 10 years. Sounds of rushing water, chimes of the church, calling of an owl at night......pure countryside. The people are more than friendly and the meals real French cooking. Winelist impressive!
