I stayed at Les Meyrandiers for four nights in early May, 2012. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful B&B to travelers. This charming chambre-d’hotes (as the French call it) is run by Philippe and Esméralda B., a French couple who between them have put together one of the most incredible places I’ve ever visited. (By the way, Philippe... More

Les Meyrandiers was a little slice of heaven. Situated on the Dordogne river in gorgeous little Argentat, there is nothing about this B&B that is not exquisitely thought through and perfectly executed. The room we stayed in was amazing (the top floor) - as previous reviewers have mentioned it pushes the boundaries of your traditional B&B, was more like a... More

Les Meyrandiers pushes the notion of B&B up by several notches. Philippe and Esmeralda have created a superbly comfortable and stylish haven for travellers in what must be one of the most beautiful spots in this part of France. The accommodation is top-notch, breakfast included a feast of home made jams and our hosts were splendid. Our only regret was... More

This little inn is heartbreakingly beautiful! It's location overlooking the Dordogne River and the sweet town of Argenta is nothing short of idyllic. The room we stayed in was beautiful - fresh, clean and beautifully renovated. The hosts utterly charming and the breakfasts delicious! On our last night there was a night festival in Argenta - imagine a beautiful summer... More

During our 7-day road trip of central France we were lucky to stumble on this gem. Phillip & his wife treated us like family during our stay. This place is "top shelf" of all the guesthouses we stayed at. Absolute charm and awesome location. Go out of your way to stay here. You'll be very pleased.

Definitely the very best B&B we stayed in during our 3 week trip around France! After arriving into Argentat and crossing the Dordogne river, we spotted the perfect place to stay, not knowing if there was actually a B&B there. That's when we found "Les Meyrandiers." The B&B is incredible, from the amazing hosts to the 5-star luxury room (windows... More
