Do not stay here. We were booked here as part of a route 66 tour and have been sorely disappointed. Our room smelled of sewage - on reporting to reception we were told we could book another hotel if we liked. When I pointed out we had prepaid they said there was nothing they could do as they were full... More

For the most part for me at least, all these places are pretty much very similar (unless you stray too much from the norm). Don't get me wrong- The Mountain Ranch Resort is a well-run, clean, quiet, very conveniently located nice little experience. What I took back with me, though, was how warm, genuine, & friendly the people here are,... More

We travelled by rental car from Las Vegas, taking Route 66. We wanted to stay in Williams as a launching point to see the Grand Canyon the next day. The Mountain Ranch resort was a relaxing antidote to Vegas, with reasonably priced and updated rooms. The bathroom is very nice, the room large, comfy and quiet. The rooms open to... More

My advise: just avoid I booked a room with king size on arrival no king size just the smallest queen size ever seen and trying to put the blame on booking.com Next morning when checking out "have you taken you breakfast? Too bad we wanted to give you a voucher to compensate the king size annoyance" Unfortunately guess what I... More

We had a quick stay, got in late. it was VERY dark in back of hotel as we drove around to our room maybe cinder block walls in back--- I was nervous but very relieved to see a very nice, clean, comfortable room. It looked to have been recently remodeled. There were two doors in the room one that opened... More

We have been stopping here for 8-10 yrs when open(closes in the winter mths due to snow). This Resort is family run, the staff extremely friendly. The restaurant is very good especially the dinner menu. The rms have been updated on a regular bases and the beds are great. What makes this Resort so special is the national forest is... More

The rooms are large, with a table and chairs. The sink is outside of the bathrooms. Bed was comfy. Their are horses to ride and lots to do on a nice day. We enjoyed the chicken and BBQ ribs for dinner in the restaurant.

Clean and comfy. Stayed for 2 nights. The only complaint would be that the food at the restaurant wasn't that great. But in town we found some Gems! Overall a really nice place set in a nice area. Kinda reminded me of Vermont.

The rooms were nice, quiet and clean. The location is a bit of out town, but the scenery is fantastic and restaurant was good and the staff very helpful. While the hotel felt "almost" like home . . . the problems we experienced, no hot water for the shower our first morning, and non-functioning ice machines, were quickly addressed by... More

This was a nice hotel, past Williams on the highway and four of us in our 20s had a fantastic time here before our Grand Canyon hike. Rooms were clean and quiet. The ranch is functional, and we had a great horse ride the next morning. Threw the football around the spacious grounds. Continental breakfast was ok, not great. Was... More
