A beautiful site about 7 miles outside Williams down unsealed forestry roads. The site overlooks Bill Williams mountain and the lake itself and the campsites are spacious and fringed with Ponderosa Pines. There is nature everywhere particularly birdlife and we watched four Ospreys hunting over the lake near dusk. There is no power, only a few water spouts and only... More

During September trip to the Grand Canyon camped at this lake. Deer, porupine, fox, praire dogs, skunk, trout, thunderstorms, pines, sun and about 3 other people combined to make this a delightful and memerable family trip. More
