The lodge is about 10 mins drive from the canyon so it's a great place to stay. You can get up early and be in the park before most other visitors, giving unobstructed views of the canyon. Rooms are basic but clean. ther odd thing though was the toilet; unusually low. i think even a small child would find it... More

This was our hotel after a GREAT day at the Grand Canyon. This was the worst room out of 15 I stayed in on a 5500 mile road trip! It was also the most expensive that I had during our two weeks as well. The AC did not work thus it was around 80 degrees in the room all night.... More

Red Feather Lodge consists of a hotel and a motel. They were clearly once separate properties and the mote was apparently acquired by the hotel. To be clear, I stayed in the Motel and it was one of a very few rooms available in the area when I booked. The hotel appears from the outside to be nicer. The room... More

Stayed at the Motel. Big and clean room. Close to the entry of the park.

I stayed at the Red Feather hotel for four nights in mid May. The hotel is older. The rooms are clean and quiet but it isn't a newer hotel. The TV wasn't a flat screen. The sheets are average. The towels are pretty good. I was in the hotel which was very quiet. They have a motel which has outdoor... More

Just had one night at Red Feathers Lodge whilst visiting the Grand Canyon - hadn't been able to get a room at any of the Lodges in the Park itself. Room was reasonable size, bathroom a bit small but clean and 2 Queen beds very comfortable. No breakfast. Good location and not too bad on price considering how expensive things... More

Me and my friends stayed here after camping a night in the park. It was too cold outside for us. ( We're from texas and we found that we were not prepared for what the snow headed our way.) It was nice and warm and the beds were comfortable which was all we cared about. Also because it was during... More

I stayed at the Red Feather Lodge for two nights, and was quite impressed with the lodging and its staff. The motel/inn is located in the small town of Tusayan, Arizona, which was specially constructed to accommodate visitors to the Grand Canyon area. A McDonald’s restaurant and a Wendy’s restaurant are located only one block away. I ate at both... More

You are right - not much opportunities for rooms around grand canyon - but avoid this one. The hotel has two room types - the new part "the hotel" and the old one "the motel". We stayed 2 nights at the new hotel room, payed 159$ for night. The front desk service was poor - managed by teenagers with indifferent... More

The newer part of the hotel was fine. Beds were comfortable. Needs some updating. Loved the bath and body works soap and lotion. A little surprised by a small cockroach in our bathroom.
