If you want to stay close to the canyon, in an inexpensive hotel, this is for you. Breakfast buffet was nice, (only frustration was after I had paid and tipped I found that service charge was automatically added so I tipped twice) HBO in the room. Outdoor pool- too cold in April, indoor Jacuzzi. 10 mins away from the canyo... More

I stayed here back in 2004 and thought it was nice, so I booked a night at this hotel online the night before we were due to arrive in the Grand Canyon. Arrived around 6:00pm and they didn't have our booking information. The staff were helpful and sensitive to my problem, but very inflexible - they wouldn't give me the... More

The hotel is pretty, clean and in the best possible position ever to discover the Grand Canyon. They give you a lot of advices and the entire crew is there to help you out. We were wondering about the Antelope Canyon visits and a brilliant and useful travel agent has booked the best trip for us without asking for anything... More

I stayed at this hotel recently when visiting the Grand Canyon. We were really disappointed for what I got. Old stuff in the room, no fridge (the first time in our trip !) We asked for cold water and were badly answered. So we decided not spending one dollar more in the hotel. We had a dinner (very good) at... More

As many have said, it is not a resort. And also remember, it is not at the Grand Canyon, but about a 10-15min drive away. But it is perfect if you either cannot afford to stay Canyonside, or simply don't want to (although it is much better to stay on the Canyon). It is relatively cheap in price. We had... More

I stayed at this hotel recently when visiting the Grand Canyon. As a previous review said saying it was a resort was a large stretch. I was really disappointed for what I got for the price. I had stayed in the Grand Canyon the night before and their hotel (Kachina) I stayed at was beautiful as well as having a... More

Calling this a “resort” is a big stretch, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and amenities at this hotel. It was not the run down tourist trap I was expecting. After reading other reviews, I suspect that they have been through a management change and upgrades recently. It is not owned by Quality Inn at this time. I... More

I just stayed for one night with my husband, son and his fiancee at the Canyon Plaza. We had a two queen bed suite. I booked that place because of of its location--so close (5 minutes) to the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park. I didn't expect much and when I arrived it looked like an old motel. Lobby... Great hotel and great location if not staying in the park. We reserved a king room and they had upgraded to a king suite when we arrived. Very spacious! Loved having a sink outside and inside of bathroom. Walking distance to a everything we needed. Next to the National Geographic I Max and gift shop! We were not disappointed!
