This is exactly the sort of family-run motel that made my Route 66 vacation an amazing one. If you are looking for some impersonal, sterile chain hotel, then move on. However, if you are looking for friendly service, very clean rooms, and a place that feels more like home than a hotel, then this is your place. I stayed over... more

This Motel was right near the car show we attended at The Road Kill Cafe. It's a very cool 50 style Route 66 Motel. The Owner & Manager were very friendly & with the help of the Cleaning Person(s) we got to check in early. The room was big & clean. The fridge was a good size for our soda's.... more

It's a great place to stay, clean and good location. The owner was really nice and friendly, and she even waited for us to arrive when we were running late on our schedule. There is a very nice cafe called the Lilo Cafe just across the motel, serving nice food and well-decorated. We like it very much and we even... more

We had booked this hotel specifically as we wanted to include a visit to the Roadkill Cafe/Bar, which is on site. It was closed for a refurb - despite specific email enquiries, no one mentioned the closure before or after we booked! The room was okay - it wasn't cramped and it was clean-ish (big dead bug in corner), but... more

Yes, sir this is an historic beauty from the plaques of famous people who stayed to the historic neon sign guiding you in. Large spacious and clean rooms with cozy touches. Loved the Road Kill Diner next door with dining discount. This is definitely a real retreat for those traveling Route 66. more

The Historic Route 66 hotel is a good choice when in Seligman. We had #109 (but no one famous stayed in this room, unlike some of the others) which was a large room with two queen beds on either side of the entrance to make the most effective use of the space, a small desk & chair, an upholstered chair,... more

My husband and I took the drive from Las Vegas and had to drive Route 66. The day we went, it was sunny. The drive was wonderful and we stopped several times to take pictures of the historic area. I can't tell you how magical this stretch of road is and a definite MUST SEE! Route 66 is classic and... more

We stayed overnight here May 30, 2007. Our room seemed more spacious than the usual since the beds were end to end across a large space in the center of the room. Everything was neat and clean. Quilts on bed and other homey touches. Chairs outside for relaxing or viewing the countryside. (There were ash tray stands for the smokers.)... more

We spent a month driving Route 66 and of course no trip on 66 is complete with out a stop to the small town of Seligman and the Snow Cap. While there we stumbled upon the Route 66 Motel and it was a good thing that we did. First of all the host are very nice and have done a... more

This old RT. 66 motel has large rooms and a big bathroom. The Hosts are very friendly and helpful. I always stay here when I come to Seligman mainly because the rooms are always clean and when you go to the local steak house The Road Kill Cafe be sure to show them your roomkey and get 10% off the... more
