Our first LQ disappointment near the red rocks of Sedona was more like a low end Best Western. Carpets were so dirty you had wear sandals out of the shower to keep from getting black feet. What you would expect in a La Quinta, clean, comfortable stay. Not great if you want get an early start on the day. Fitness room doesn't open until 8 AM, breakfast starts late also. Reception staff could be a little friendlier, wouldn't hurt to smile a bit.
