I so enjoyed staying there. In the mornings, before a delicious breakfast, I sat on a comfortable chair on the patio outside my room. The sun shone, birds sang, the breeze ruffled the trees. Aaah. In the evening, I sat in my room for a bit, writing in my travel journal and enjoying the ambience of the flickering fireplace. The host,... More

Clean, cozy B&B, located close to central Prescott, AZ. Oh, and the best Johnnycakes ever! Don't let the proprietor talk you out of them. They are delicious and will fuel your day. I saw other reviews that talked about the heat thrown out by the fireplaces. It IS true that they are efficient, so if the heat is too much... More

We stayed here with another couple in December. It's pretty and the rooms a comfortable size. However, fireplaces are gas and throw so much heat they can't be left on except with all windows open. Also, it was impossible to get the room dark enough at night - a lot of light coming from streetlights outside and under doors from... More

My husband and I have stayed at this wonderful off-the-beaten-path oasis now for two years in a row for his birthday weekend in August. Our first visit we stayed on the second floor Butte suite and on our second on the ground floor in the San Carlos suite. Both were clean, wonderful, spacious and cozy rooms. We had our own... More

My husband and I always stay at b and b's and I have to say this was one of the nicest! Great location, extremely clean and Mark, the owner made our stay! Make sure to try the cornmeal pancakes, they are to die for. :-)

Tucked away (but not too far) from the downtown area, close to restaurants and shopping, but nestled in a relaxing woodded are is the Gurley Street Lodge. We were lucky to get a last-minute reservation in this B & B, with its wonderfully friendly host Mark. The accommodations were nice and cozy (but not small). We stayed in a first-floor... More

We just returned from an overnight stay at the Gurley Street Lodge. We stayed in the 2nd floor Butte room. The room was immaculate (super clean) and well appointed with a microwave, fridge and a gas fireplace. The lodge has free secure wifi and free parking along with a delicious breakfast. Courthouse square is less than 5 min by car... More

We stayed at the Gurley Street Lodge over Labor Day and had a great time. Mark, the inn keeper, was very friendly and made great breakfasts for the two mornings. The room was extremely clean and in good condition. We stayed in the San Carlos room downstairs. It had a very nice patio area.

Our stay was very relaxing in a comfortable room that had a private patio. Mark, the inn keeper was friendly and a wonderful cook.!! It was close to down town with plenty of choices for dinner. We look forward to our next trip!

My husband and I went to the lodge and stayed in the private bungalow. We were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The bungalow, with private patio, was immmaculate, with all new appliances. Mark was such a gracious host and we enjoyed his breakfact with gusto. We went on January 24-26. The weather was perfect!!! We can't wait to go back.
