From the minute you enter the property you are treated as part of the family. All staff are very friendly and take a keen interest in ensuring things go well for you. This is from the front desk, to valet, to all staff. This was our first trip to Arizona. The place itself is majestic. It feels like a home... more

We had a great time and my observation isn't a complaint. Most of the resorts in Scottsdale and Phoenix have more elbow room. In fact my biggest gripe about the Phoenician is that every activity requires a lengthy walk. The Royal Palms is much more compact, for example their gym is about the size of my home office. There are... more

Great and friendly service. Everyone is more than happy to help. We stayed in the Valencia Casita King room which was lovely, but a little dark due to having to keep the blinds closed, as people walking around could see in very easily. Don't need to venture far from the hotel as it's all so relaxing! The £25/day resort fee... more

Just spent 5 nights in a Valencia Casita at this lovely, tucked away resort in the Camelback Corridor- considered Phoenix, but on the edge of Scottsdale. The mediterranean villa architecture is a little unusual in these parts, and is stunningly beautiful. There is not a bad view to be had in this resort, with all kinds of intimate nooks in... more

The Resort has beautiful grounds, with a small relaxing tranquil atmosphere. The most impressive thing about Royal Palm is the service. I have traveled throughout the U.S and Europe staying at dozens of hotels but the staff here treats you like a Celebrity and they never say no. They are so accommodating and whatever you request they will find a... more

This is absolutely one of the finest places we have ever stayed, and that is saying something! We own a timeshare in Scottsdale, but decided on this trip to branch out a bit. I found the Royal Palms on Trip Advisor and then found an amazing special rate through the hotel's website so decided to give it a try. What... more

went to stay at the Royal Palms for a friends wedding. beautiful property in a great location. the service is super strong. over the top strong. I wanted a NY Times and they did not have it, but on the walk to my room the bellman offered to drive to a store to purchase for me. Service to the highest... more

our stay tapped into all the senses. the smells of the lemon grove wafted throughout the cobbled stone walkways. the sounds of tranquil running water from the numerous fountains were our background noise. the spa treatments were world-class. the views of Camelback Mountain were stunning (especially at sunset). the service was attentive and pleasantly preemptive. and the meal at T.... more

I have stayed at nearly every luxury resort in the area while commuting to Phoenix for work since 1996. I have stayed at the Royal Palms countless times since they reopened in '97. I can unequivocally state that this is the most unique, exceptional resort in the US or Europe. You are treated as if you are a guest at... more
