This was the first time I stayed at the Howard Johnson Airport Downtown in Phoenix. The room was clean. The staff was helpful. It was conveniently located and reasonably priced. They were happy to accommodate our very late arrival (our flight didn't get in until after midnight).

The room was large and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was incredibly quick to pick us up, and this hotel is only minutes from the airport. We had an early morning flight, no problem! Breakfast started at 5:30.

We left our car at the hotel during a 6-day trip to Schenectady, NY in November 2011. The shuttle picked us up in front of the hotel, then at the airport upon our return. The price was excellent. It was a very pleasant experience, one we will take advantage of again.
