We spent 10 days at coconuts. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay. While the first week or so went ok, but halfway through our honeymoon we both got quite ill. On one particular morning we asked the maid to not make up our room, however we returned from breakfast our room had been made up, my suitcase had... More

I was last at Coconuts for Christmas in 2010. I travelled with my then 20 year old daughter. we had such a fabulous time I vowed I would return and return I did, in November 2011 with her twin sister now aged 21. We had just spent a wonderful 6 nights on Malolo Island and 3 nights at Radisson Blu... More

Talofa Lava Libster1953 and thanks for your review of Coconuts Beach Club. We are so proud that you chose to return to Coconuts for another visit (with your very lucky daughter!). We apologize for the mixup of our transfers - we still feel very bad about that. No one wants to start their Samoa holiday off like that. We are... More

Best part of our stay was the very friendly staff, starting with the courtesy pickup from the airport. Rooms were ok; bring bug repellant when you stock up at grocery on way in (courtesy van will stop for you, small refrig in room). Food was ok at best....... drinks watered down and too pricy. Pool is salt water and very... More

Talofa dbt54 and thanks for your review of Coconuts Beach Club. We are glad you enjoyed our rooms, and our amazing local Samoan staff. We are sorry to hear about this mixup with the Treehouse Suites - as you know, we were very, very busy for New Years. We do hope that on your next visit to Samoa you return... More

My husband & I chose this destination for our honeymoon and coconuts as the place to stay. After reading reviews on here I was quite nervous but I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it is here and how friendly the staff were. Generally rude staff - especially the owners (who we witnessed berating local staff on a number of occasions). Misleading information about just how 'under construction' the resort is. Access to "inclusive" water equipment (canoes, etc.) was not always easy given you had to hassle people for it. The problem isn't the resort per se, it's more what one expects for... More

Talofa Lava Klangy. Thanks for leaving a review of your stay at Coconuts. One of the biggest transitions that our guests must make during a stay with us at Coconuts Beach Club is the very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere of both the resort and the island. Samoa works on a very different pace than everywhere else in the world. And,... More

Stayed for 9 nights Nov, 2011. After staying at Sinalei in March with the missus, I opted for a slightly cheaper alternative for the boys surf trip. The CoCo suite was great, large enough for 4 blokes with 2x large bathrooms, cool with ceiling fans and a small A/C unit and the bar fridge was stocked daily keeping the beers... More

Stayed at Coconuts in October. It's a nice location. I was a huge fan of Coconut's but I regret my review here is not overly positive. The dining was rather unremarkable; the food palatable yet well below expectations. This is a shame given previous and a well deserved reputation for excellent cuisine in Samoa. The service level from staff was... More

if you're the kind of traveller that expects fawning service, abundant toiletries and evening turndowns, then maybe stick to Fiji. But if you can go with the flow, ignore a bit of confusion at check-in etc and want a laidback holiday in the most beautiful spot then we can recommend Coconuts. Our family of 5 had a week's respite from... More

It's common practice on South Pacific Islands to stay at one resort and visit other resorts during your stay for lunch or dinner. A group of four of us had a lovely lunch at Sinalei just down the beach. Afterwards we decided to wonder to coconuts for a cocktail. To begin the bartender was grumpy as sin, she begrudgingly took... Talofa Lava NeilTee and thanks for your review. While you did not stay at Coconuts, we do appreciate you having visited. Unfortunately, it sounds as though your short visit to Coconuts did not go well. Please remember that Coconuts Beach Club is a very small resort, with a very limited number of fales and suites. As such, our guests are... More

So after reading many reviews of this resort I was quite nervous about staying here with my husband, daughter and her friend. But even with major rebuilding after the tsunami we would have to say its one of the best holidays we've ever had. And here is why.. In this price bracket the beach fales were fantastic. So much room... More
