Best breakfasts in Banos for sure. Try the papaya honey-- freaking delicious. Very good coffee too! Wifi always worked-- strong plus. Hot water with strong pressure is so fantastic. It's quiet, has views of the falls, & is pretty. We only stayed a night but would return!

La Posada Del Arte is a great place to stay while in Banos. The location is perfect since it is just a short walk from the city center and close enough to the waterfall to be serenaded to sleep by the sounds of the cascading water. Have stayed many places in Banos, and we really enjoyed Posada Del Arte. Nice atmosphere, the rooms are really well decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, and the service staff (Ecuadorians) are wonderful. The comments on the owners are pretty spot on. They don't seem to appreciate their guest and are generally not friendly.

The owners of this property live life on their own terms. They serve Coke in bottles like God intended because they don't like trash. They buy fresh produce from the local market because it builds their own community not corporate food. They have great Internet and have good bandwidth.
