This hotel is a real gem. The rooms are very comfortable, most with stunning views across the Beagle Channel. The level of service from Seba and Maia the owners (and chef) is unbeatable. An excellent breakfast, with home made breads. A fantastic staff, that helped us all days (thank you very much, Sandra!). Cozy room, with amazing view. The unusual hotel similar on the Swiss chalet with the same high quality of service as 5 star! Owners Maria & Sebastian have met us smiles and a glass of red wine! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and loved it. Meant to be 3 nights - but our bus from Punta Arenas took 21 hours instead of 12, due to high winds preventing our crossing the Straits of Magellan. Hosteria Tierra de Leyendas deserves every bit of it’s very high TripAdvisor rating, (#1 at the time of this writing.) and we would stay no where else if we return to Ushuaia.
