We stayed in the Monaco a couple of years ago and again this year, as a base before and after trekking on the Valdevieso and Dientes. As a trekking hotel it's fine. Very basic hotel, but clean and (very) warm, with an adequate breakfast and internet that seemed to work this time. It's on the main drag in Ushuaia so very convenient for parillas and trekking shops more
