We stayed at Los Yamanas for 3 nights and it served as a good base camp for some trekking and exploring in the region. The setting is far from "attractive"... it is breathtakingly beautiful and entrancing, with 180 degree views of the Beagle Channel from every room in the building. It was mesmerizing watching the weather blow through the channel... More

After a Patagonian cruise and a visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, we were "dumped" by our tour company in this hotel, some 3 miles or so from Ushuaia. The view over the adjacent bay was attractive but that concluded the quality of this hotel. Arriving at about midday, we found the reception staff indifferent and you couldn't get... More

Yes, its a far away from anywhere. Yes, they dont serve lunch which can be an inconvenience.Taxis to downtown take about 15 minutes and cost 40-50 pesos. BUT - if you can get past that. its a wonderful place! Very good customer service with the staff going out of their way to make our days more than comfortable. Front desk,... More

This is not a hotel you want to be in. The staff, especially the front desk staff, is beastly. The hotel is far from Ushuaia and very isolated. There is nothing, not even houses, within walking distance. A taxi trip to town is US$10.00 each way and the hotel doesn't do lunch. There are plenty friendly hotels in town within... More

My large group of 32 stayed at this hotel in March prior to departing for our Antarctic cruise. I did plenty of research in trying to locate a great hotel in Ushuaia for my group and read many reviews. I then called a few to talk with them directly. This hotel property is fantastic! After our long flight, we were... More

After our flight out of Ushuaia had been delayed 10 hours, the airline put us up at this hotel. We previously stayed at the nicer Las Hayas but it was a lottery as to where we were billeted by Lan. On arrival, everything seemed ok. The hotel is pleasant but the staff, rightly or wrongly treated us like cattle when... More

Stayed here for one night before getting boat trip to Antartica. Out of town but only 15-20 minute taxi to town, good sea views, large rooms, helpful staff - unless you want lunch! And since it is nowhere near the town............bring sandwiches! Good Internet connection in lobby.

This is an out of town hotel so you do need a cab to go out and about. If you don't mind that, then it is in a beautiful location and is nice and quiet... Apart from some loud guests..! The staff were also friendly and helpful.

if you like walking out your hotel into the middle of tourist city, you wont like this hotel. it is quiet and off the beaten path. (but only about $5 cab ride from town) in three days, we went to city center once. rest of time relaxing and day trips to tierra del fuego and hiking from hotel along the... More

First, the hotel did not have any full bed, once me and my husband had reserved a full bed. We had to sleep in twin beds the entire trip. Second, my shampoo, cream, perfum were missing the second night when we enter the room. The hotel employee did not help not even a little bit. Very disppointing ! They found... More
