We arrived a few hours late (thank you, Aerolineas Argentinas) but Tere was waiting for us and helped us getting settled. We got the two double rooms on the upper floor and were very happy with the views and the rooms. There is a good kitchen and a cozy living room. Also free wifi throughout the house (and a computer... Although it's a short walk uphill the quietness of the Casa de Tere is more than worth the effort. Tere is a very friendly and helpful lady who goes out of her way to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfasts although not the best we had in South America were more than adequate We stayed in a room... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early April. The room was good, we had a basic breakfast each day, and Tere was very very helpful for us - even though she has the flu at the time. Only drawback - no wifi but at least there was a pc with Internet.

We were a group of four and stayed three nigts. We were lucky that the third room was not rented, as the house only has one bathroom. As it was, it was nice to have the living room, kitchen and free internet to ourselves. We cooked a lot which saved money, though the kitchen was not well equipped. Tere was... More

This was our first stop after flying from Australia to BA to Ushuaia in one go. It was clean and the room was plenty warm enough. The breakfast was ok, bread, cereal, yogurt/milk etc. It's a short walk up the hill from town but we didn't find this to be a problem at all. There is a pc in the... More

Clean B&B with very helpful staff. Not in the centre but within walking distance (5 or 10 minutes). I enjoyed a small room with views to Ushuaia's Bay and the Beagle Channel.

We stayed 5 nights in Double bed private room with toilette. Windows with view to Rivadavia street. It is a very very beautifull house, clean and comfortable. It is a few block from the center uphill, but listen: that is the best. You are very close to the center and you will discover the meaning of "no noise". It was... More

We stayed for two nights with Silvia - the friendly and open hostess. The B&B is a lovely wooden house in the typical Ushuaia Style. It is a bit distant from the town center up the hill - but never more than 5-10 walking minutes anyway. Rooms are very nicely decorated, with good breakfast and shared bathroom. Extremly good value... More

Tere is a great hostess. The house is warm, cozy, and affords a kitchen, internet access, a small library, and a tv. It's a great value in Ushuaia, and my husband and I recommend it. Obrigada, Gracias Tere!
