Pueblo Viejo was clean, comfortable and quiet. The large bathrooms were sparkling and had plenty of hot water. The beds were comfy and the rooms cozy. We booked with Pueblo Viejo based on the Lonely Planet Guide. Most of the hotels are priced at over $100 and we wanted to keep our trip on a budget level that Argentina is known for (although the bargains are fast disappearing).
