I stayed at this hotel for one night before heading out to sea. The room was very large having a separate bedroom and living room that included a kitchenette. The room was clean and well maintained and the hotel on the whole had a nice modern vibe and brightness to it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.... More

I just returned from visiting Ushuaia for the third time and hands-down, Alto Andino is my favorite place to stay in town. It's conveniently located two blocks from San Martin, so getting to restaurants, museums, and the port are all easy - though in Ushuaia it's either uphill or downhill, depending where you are starting from! The staff could not... More

I only have good memories from Alto Andino. The hotel is well located, the room was large and very beautiful, the breakfast was delicious. All the hotel have an incredible view of the Beagle Channel. The staff it's really good, even helped solve a problem we had with the airline company. Recommended!

Arriving by taxi, the street-front entrance (and the environs themselves) was less than inspiring, and I had a sinking feeling that I’d made the wrong choice. This impression was proved wrong as soon as I entered the modern and attractive lobby and was met by friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with newly updated bathrooms and... More

Recently we stayed at the Alto Andino Hotel in Ushuaia prior to joining our cruise to Antarctica. We had an apartment room - as there were 3 of us - the bedroom had 2 single beds and the sitting room had a sofa bed - the room was on the second floor at the back (really the front - well... More

Normally I don't stay in hotels, only in Bed & Breakfasts. But for this trip I stayed at this hotel and I like it very much. The rooms were clean, spacious and with excellent bathrooms. The hotel also clean and nice. The workers are very nice and polite. From the restaurant (top floor) you can have an awesome view of... More

I've spent the past several nights at this hotel as a solo female traveler and it has been a wonderful experience. My room, 304, had a fantastic view of the city, mountains, and bay. The lounge and dining area have even better views in every direction since they are on the top floor, 4th, of the tallest building around. The... More

Good hotel in very good location in Ushuaia. We had a room on the third floor, just below the restaurant, with a view over the Beagle canal - amazing! Staff very friendly, room clean, quite small but well equipped. No gym, but one can run along the costanera towards the airport.

Our room was very nice, but almost no view. We didn't care, but if you want a view, ask. The real reason to stay is is the cafe and lounge on the top floor. It's probably the best view in the town. On the cafe side, you can have drink and look at the Beagle channel; on the lounge side,... More

We loved this modern, clean and well maintained hotel. The staff were helpful (specially Patricia) and the breakfast was good (with an amazin view!). We found our rooms (101 and 102) quite nice and big enough for the whole family. Just 2 blocks from the main street, but be aware that it's a good climb to get there.
