We enjoyed our one night stay after vititing the Perito Moreno Glacier. The hotel has nice outside views. rooms and breakfast was nice. The hotel is a bit outside the city centre but has a very convenient shuttle bus which we used to go into town. Good for an overnight stay if visiting the Perito Moreno Glacier.

We stayed in a triple room for one night and were very impressed. The room was huge and each of us has a full sized bed with still lots of extra space in the room. The shower was really great too which can be hard to find in south America. And the breakfast was included and was really great quality... More

reading the other reviews, AFTER booking (we were in a hurry and there was a discount on that hotel) I felt like I might be disappointed. this was far from being the case. although it is indeed a bit far from town (25 minute walk) it can be done by walking near the water seeing pink flamingos and there is... This is a 3 star +. Nice place. Clean. Everything worked. Upgrade to a lake view - worth it. Decent breakfast. To become a 4 star it needs to add staff, like bell boys and upgrade bed spreads. Free shuttle is the way into town.

I had read some negative refs and looked for some hotel. Unfortunately I didn't know the period I picked was a long week-end and the city was packed with tourists. In the end I got a very good price through booking.com and made the reservation. The hotel is located 3.5 km (more than 2 miles) from downtown El Calafate and... More

I stayed here for one night as part of an inclusive trip - so I´m unable to guage how this hotel compares pricewise to others in town. However, I found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, good staff and the rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. Yes, it is a bus ride into town, but the provcide the bus at... More

Nice breakfast spread to start the day and comfortable rooms. We had 4 adults + 5 children and were able to get all the kids in an adjoining room and the adults in two others. Central to Glaciar El Perito Moreno, many estancias and the Airport. Try walking around town during the day it's nice to get the hometown flavor.

The RH Rochester Calafate is a nice, fairly new hotel in El Calafate on the lake, but it is not in walking distance to the town, so plan on taking the shuttle bus. We did have some trouble when we checked in. The three of us were supposed to be in a lake-view suite, but they had none available for... More
