We booked 4 rooms for a price of $285 each room per night in this (supposed) 4 or 5 star hotel, after looking at the reviews and most of all, at the beautiful photos that are posted in Expedia, Trip Advisor, and the hotel’s web page. Let me tell you that you will be very disappointed. It’s by any way... More

I recently had a wonderful stay at Los Alamos. The courteous and speedy service, the beatifully appointed rooms with wooden walls, the great food served at its restaurant, and its spacious and comfortable spa were the highlights. And the location is perfect - just 2 streets away from the main drag and away from its noise.

If you like to see the atractions but still walk around the town in the evening instead of staying isolated at a hotel this is for sure the best options. Rooms might be smaller since hotel is some years old, but very well kept and service is great. Lovely gardens and great spa services

This hotel is quite large and spread out comprising buildings and facilities on both sides of the road. For instance the restaurdant and breakfast room is some 50 metres across the road and in the other building - too bad if the weather is bad. However, we found the room good and roomy and the bed comfortable. The service was... More

Was not very happy with this hotel and the town in general was very touristy. The hotel room smelled like a bathroom and they gave me a hard time about changing the room. Finally, close to midnight, they said they would change it. At that point we were too tired. Not very friendly and the room was pretty old looking.

I ended up staying here by an unfortunate over booking incident at another hotel I had booked - they kindly moved me here as the over booking was their fault...I thought I'd got lucky, but actually, I'd wish I'd been able to stay at my original place. Location - Great for the main street and the cafes etc - just... More

We were part of a group that was lucky enough to have plane issues and forced to stay another night in El Calafate. We were booked a room at Los Alamos and were very happy. The rooms are small but nice, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant was incredible. We have eaten and many places in Argentina since... More

From a 5 star hotel you woul expect more. Our room was so small that when we were inside one should stay on the bed for the other to move. The furniture is very old and the bathroom really need some renovation. The front desk was not very helpful and not very kind. The hotel has a swimming pool with... More
