We stayed one night at this hotel en route from Argentinia to Chile . We recieved a warm friendly welcome and excellent advice on a restaurant and other services. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and was well located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend this small friendly hotel to travellers.

Hip hotel not too far from the town center. Oddly seems to be the nicest building in the immediate area. Helpful staff will give you reliable recommendations for your stay. Breakfast wasn't much, but it was alright. Worth your stay.

For us, Bariloche was an architectural cacophony in the midst of a supremely beautiful setting. The town is overbuilt with too many ugly and dissonant buildings. Happily, the View Hotel is up a hill and away from the town center. The hotel has a minimalist feel to it which was most welcome after alot of Alpine kitsch. All the rooms... More

While this hotel is certainly adequate . . . the rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, it is no where near the warmth and attentiveness of the other hotels we've stayed at (this is our 4th hotel in the last 9 days that we've stayed at. The nicest person is their afternoon desk clerk - British - and very... More

The hotel is very well located, just a few blocks from the center of Bariloche, so one can get to the main parts of town in less than 5 mins., but it's conveniently located up a couple of streets, so that one doesn't get to hear any cars passing. No traffic noise or otherwise. Room was clean and comfortable, with... More

My friend and I traveled to Bariloche before we went to Buenos Aires because we wanted a taste of the Patagonia region. We were not disappointed. I read some reviews before I left that completely dissed the hotel (although most are favorable) and I have to say that if you want to be in a friendly, clean, well priced, and... More

View Hotel is located above central Bariloche an easy walk (but uphill) from the main centre. View from the rooms is excellent over the lake and downtown Bariloche. Rooms are basic but very clean and stylish. Bathrooms clean and modern. The bar/restaurant area has an attractive bar with a great location for viewing sunsets but as the hotel was empty... More

Ignacio and his wife are lovely hosts - charming and welcoming. The hotel does live up to its name with an excellent view of the lake from our room. The room was comfortable and had everything we required. This is a great place and easy walking distance to everything in the city. It is a real find and highly recommend... More

This hotel has everything most people are looking for: large, comfortable and elegant rooms, good shower, pleasant dining-room and, most of all, great views of the lake. It is also located close to downtown, no need to drive. We found the staff very friendly and willing to help. The owner surprised us by charging $10 less because somebody had damaged... More

The View is truly boutique in that it is small and very personal. Clean, spare and tasteful furnishings with style. Your host, Ignacio, is a friendly and helpful. Breakfast - coffee, tea, fresh squeezed juice, toast, and yummy croissants was perfect (for me). there is a handsome bar/lounge area, but no dinner or active nightlife. It's a good place to... More
