The innkeepers in this place are friendly, helpful, delightful people. It is a great location - just a block from the lake and a few blocks from the center of town. Breakfast is good. Rooms are OK. Great value for the price

Appears to be family run, and they go out of the way to make you feel comfortable, like helping with your luggage to the car. They said, "you will not do any work here!" The room was cozy and clean, location is fantastic and a wonderful value. You couldn't ask for more at this price point. Highly recommended.

The first day we arrived, we realized that the cold water from the bathtub was not working properly. As they needed time to repair it, they offered us to spend our first night in the suite room!!! So kind of them. We live a very familiar atmosphere, everyone there is very friendly and always are well predisposed to help. Breakfast... More

My wife and I stayed here for a night in August 2010. The hotel is more of a guesthouse/B&B than a hotel in style. The design is very Alpine/snow lodge and it perfectly suited the environment. Our room had beams in the ceiling and it was a great location to watch the snow coming down. We had a view of... More

La Posta Del Cazador I stayed at La Posta Del Cazador in San Martin De Los Andes for 3 nights in March, 2008. I loved the people who worked there. Though I spoke very little Spanish, they tried to speak Spanish with me and when I didn’t understand they switched to English. Only a few spoke a lot of English,... More

I've been in there 3 times over a week in 10 years, during winter, to snowboard in Chapelco and I really like this lodge. The family staff is good. If Nacho is still there, talk to him to have everything settle - and even honest tips about renting snowboard equipment, restaurants and everything else in the city. It's close to... More

Best if you speak some Spanish here; the family who owns and operates this charming hosteria does not speak much English. We upgraded our room to the more spacious suite ($50 per night), and we were quite comfortable. Our hosts (Ignacio and Jessica) were so gracious and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the black cat is a sweetie. Easy... More
