It looks nice from the outside, restaurant is right outside. Once inside, it's different... run down and small but it's right in the plaza so it has a good location. Breakfast buffet was about the same as the others. Nothing to rave about.

Salta is beautiful city and region but the Hotel Victoria Plaza certainly did not live up to it's description. We reserved because it had a special promotion and we upgraded to a VIP B room. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and fully enjoyed it. Great location overlooking the main plaza and the cathedral. Convenient (within blocks) to restaurants, the tourist information center, post office, automobile rentals and shops of all kinds. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I stayed at the Victoria Plaza for six nights. Located across the street from the city's main plaza, it can't be better located. Although most of the buildings around the plaza are quaint and colonial, the hotel building is circa 1960, so if you're looking for charm, this wouldn't be the place for you.
