The hotel is a bit out-of-the way. It's situated in cul-de-sac of mixed use buildings and not walkable to shops and restaurants. Although the hotel had an on-site restaurant, they didn't offer much variety and preparation and taste of food was mediocre. I did enjoy the option of a quick to-go breakfast for those of us who had to get... more

The Phoenix Marriott Mesa is two city blocks from Main Street (.7miles). Most of our guests do feel this is a “walkable” distance to restaurants and activities including two restaurants on our block, sidewalk cafés and bakeries, the Mesa Art Center, South West Museum, Antique, Music, Apparel Stores, and Art Galleries. The Fitness Center equipment has been inspected today (two...

This hotel was a disaster from the moment I pulled up. Drove through a bad area to get to it. Scary outdoor parking lot was only option for parking. No bellman. Front desk staff was very unprofessional. Common areas in need of renovation. So called "Conceirge Lounge" had very limited hours. Closed on weekends. What's the point? Let's just say... more

Most of our travelers enjoy the charm of downtown Mesa; yet convenience to Phoenix and the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. We take pride in the fact that we are a business oriented hotel and that our forte’ is Convention Business as we are adjoined to the Mesa Convention Center. Though we have many resort-like amenities and features, our surroundings...

Booked this trip thru Priceline for 2 nights - total for around $150. We had previously come from the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix so we clearly were not expecting the same but were comforted after our Priceline purchase was made that it was a Marriott, as we have always had great experiences at Marriott chain. Reason for the... more

My wife and I stayed at the Mesa Marriott and were both mortafied by the Ghetto in which it was located. The parking is away from the hotel and it was somewhat scary to walk to the hotel. The rooms were nice but there is a serious cockroach problem. We also came to the conclusion that there is not sence... more

Appearances can be deceiving...we are in the originally established area of downtown Mesa. This quaint historic district is the first major city of Arizona, and currently the third largest in the state! Safety is of the utmost importance, and given our low incident rate it is obviously not a problem at our Hotel. The staff and management was very concerned...

We stayed at the Marriott Mesa for a long weekend in May. It was part of a package with Allegiant Air. It was very clean and quiet. We had a first floor room overlooking the pool. The fitness center was very nice and we enjoyed the restaurant, there was a small bar in the lobby. We walked around the area,... more

The management is so pleased that this guest enjoyed their stay. Though we have several restaurants within walking distance, like most downtown areas, Main Street does quiet down in the evenings. However, we are a straight shot down University Blvd. to ASU where the nightlife is hopping on Mill Avenue! Or if you’re looking for a bit of upscale nightlife...

I didn't know what to expect coming to this hotel after spending much more per night for the Courtyard in Tempe and the Hilton Garden Inn downtown. However, this hotel is immaculate. It is quiet, friendly, and convienient to the Mesa area. There is not much around except for Sluggo's (A sports bar across the street) for dining. Sluggo's is... more

We are delighted that this guest enjoyed their visit and hope they keep in mind that University Blvd. runs directly behind the hotel and is a straight shot to ASU where the nightlife is hopping on Mill Avenue and the shops are open very late…Only a 15 minute drive, then return to our quaint hotel for a good nights sleep....

The staff ws friendly, ws no Bellman, Bathroom are tiny and no vanity they only have a sink, no place to put your hair spray, etc.. carpet ws dirty, work out center ws ok, but I ws very disappointed w/ the bathroom for the price are we paying. more

Management response from

We believe this guest stayed in one of our ADA (American Disabilities Act) Guest Rooms as there is not a vanity so that the sink is accessible by wheelchair. All of our standard guest rooms have beautiful raised granite vanities with rich wood shelving for extra towels and storage. The elegant vanity is showcased by handcrafted wall sconce lighting and...
