First of all, the location is great! close to restaurants, park, and main attractions! The staff was friendly and spoke English, they helped me arrange tours and recommended restaurants! whenever i had a question they answered with a smile and were very polite! The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Overall i had a great time at the Villaggio and... More

We had a wonderful 4 days at the Villaggio Hotel in late January 2012! The location was the best part of this spot - a block from the Independence Plaza as well as several great restaurants. Our room was lovely - with large windows and a very large bathroom. We had two minor complaints on our room - the first... More

The hotel staff was nice and spoke great english. They also gave good recommendations for place to eat. The computers are free as is the internet. The rooms were noisy as the walls are thin. Other than that I would recommend this hotel. More

Our visit was not the best. The spa was closed due to a fire in the fall. The staff informed us that the elevator and air conditioning were affected and were not working properly. All of this should have been disclosed before arrival. The website now has a subtle reference to renovation at the spa, but charging full freight for... More

The Management of the Villagio Hotel is constantly reading the reviews and answering each one where there is a concern, however, we do have to be very cautious as it has come to our attention that certain comments are not 100% genuine but rather fake or duplicated, with the only intention of damaging our hotel’s reputation. We have informed Trip... More

Excellent location, close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. Great value for money in Mendoza!!!. My husband and I stayed at the Villagio Hotel and had wonderful time. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful, among other things, the Wine tours they recommended and booked for us were excellent. The rooms are nice and clean and they also have a... More

The unhelpful and rude staff, along with the dirty, unkept nature of some of the rooms tend to be a common theme. When we arrived, the "suite" given to us was filthy! The tub was black and the shower curtain covered in mold and ripped. After being made feel like the hotel was doing us a HUGE favor, we were... More

The Villagio Hotel Management is not surprised to see a review from the third of the three passengers who stayed at our Hotel and were disappointed, BUT ONLY BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T GET AWAY WITH WHAT THEY WANTED, which was to get two double bedrooms for the price of one, just because they decided they didn’t want to take the triple... The photos of the rooms they show online are not representative of reality. The rooms are worn and dirty. The walls are paper thing. We could hear the man next door snoring. The staff are VERY unhelpful and rude. One man on the desk LIED to us about the air conditioning being broken, that no irons were available etc. Also... More

At the Villagio Hotel, we value the passengers’ feedback (which we take into account to continue to offer excellent customer service), provided that the feedback we receive is genuine and contains valid points for consideration. Unfortunately, we believe that these three young ladies are only writing bad reviews about the Hotel to express their frustration for not getting away with... More

We came with high expectations, but the Vilaggio was disappointing. The staff was unhelpful. The facility was tired and dirty. The elevator did not work. The spa was closed due to a fire. The breakfast was okay. The air conditioning did not work in our first room. My favorite moment was listening to the staff telling an elderly couple that... More

Because airspace was closed at the Valdes Peninsula (ashes coming from a Chilean volcano), our group of 4 people had to switch destination and then we went to Mendoza. We made a last minute booking at Villagio after a quick check on TA and it was a good choice. This modern hotel is close to the main square and nightlife... More

We stayed in December 2011. We found Villaggio to be a very comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The room (one of the superior rooms in the back) was very quiet and clean, if slightly worn. The location is perfect just a block off of Plaza Indepencia. The only negative was that the rooftop terrace and facilities were closed at the... More
