On a recent trip to Mendoza (May 2012) we spent four nights at Casa Lila and we would have to agree that it really is number one for good reason. In fact it may be the best B & B we have ever stayed at! Pablo and Mariela were the most gracious of hosts and Pablo went out of his... More

We spent five nights here in March of 2012 in the beginning of our two and a half week vacation. Our visit at Casa Lila pretty much spoiled most of the other places we stayed. There was just no comparing the lovely hosts & staff, the assistance in planning our time, clean & quiet room and friendly environment. I wish... More

Just four simple but gracious and comfortable rooms off a magnificent green, candlelit courtyard hidden behind a nondescript metal gate in a quiet part of Mendoza city. The owner/managers are incredibly hospitable and went over the top to help us arrange our quick and busy visit to Mendoza. We also had two hiccups - my friend left his wallet in... More

This place is great, everything from the location to the decor to the fantastic hosts was absolutely perfect. Our Mendoza trip could not have been better. We booked Casa Lila for our trip based on all of these great TripAdvisor reviews and I could not agree more. Mariela, Pablo, and Eugenia were awesome and all went out of their way... More

We reserved three nights there, Will be flying in from the US. They just emailed to say they have a guest who wants to extend their stay so they are canceling our reservation. Less than 24 hour notice before our flight to Argentina. Who does that?Very unprofessional and no offer to get us in anywhere else.

Dear Sir, We are sorry and surprised to receive this comment. Following the 1 phone conversation with you, in which you asked for availability 24 hours ahead of your flight, we gave you “ AVAILABILITY”, NOT A RESERVATION CONFIRMATION, NOR A RESERVATION NUMBER. We requested that you send us an e-mail with your booking request, STANDARD PROCEDURE to make a... More

Pablo and Mariela are absolutely the best hosts! They are very friendly and accommodating, but never obtrusively so. Eugenia (biz development and excursions coordinator) was very helpful and informative - she arranged a top notch wine tour for us in the Lujan area which included a wonderful and educational tour of a small production bodega by one of the owner's... It's easy to see why this B&B is ranked #1. Mariela and Pablo are kind, helpful and treat you as family. Their B&B is located convenient to cafes and a market, yet is tranquil and private. The rooms are clean and breakfast is plentiful. Monica, one of their staff who cooks breakfast, is great. And their dog Olivia was so... More

Casa Lila is a lovely place. What takes it to another level is the attitude and friendship of the Casa Lila family. We were greeted with enthusiasm and made to feel as if we had found our own home, complete with dog, child, and an open bar. Our room was modern and very comfortable. The open space was beautifully landscaped... More

We came as strangers, became friends and left as family! Mariela and Pablo have created a garden of Eden behind a simple iron gate. From the moment we walked in we were treated as royalty. Nothing was too much; buses tickets to Santiago – Pablo arranged them online and gave us printed copies, a birthday champagne for my brother-in-law, extra... More

I'd be surprised if there is a better place to stay in Mendoza. The locations is great, in a quiet safe street a couple of blocks away from the main central square and shopping/dining areas. The rooms are clean and efficent with modern comfortable beds and good bathrooms and air conditioning. They are a decent size, but not extravagant or... More
