I was not impressed by this hotel, as I was expecting something better. I'm not saying it's a terrible place, however: a. without checking their system, the hotel manager responded quite adamant & harshly that they didn't either receive or respond to our email requesting the extension of an existing reservation; as soon as he run a search, he could... This is a an average and nothing special 3 star hotel. Most of hotels in Mendoza are located in 5th and 1st section and this one is particularly in another section of the city: 2nd section in a neighbourhood which is not precisely for tourists. A taxi is necesary for the short ride from Plaza Independencia, for example. Breakfast is... More

The hotel is OK for the price, but I was in a room with a smell of humidity, the location is not so good. However is not a bad option for a few nights. Too much noise too from the street. El hotel esta bien por el precio que tiene, la habitacion en la que me quede tenia olor a... More

The Dakar provides good value in a convenient location, though a bit of a walk from the main shopping and tourist areas. We were able to walk to the hotel from the bus station. The rooms are large, but simply furnished. The bathroom is clean and modern. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is continental and ordinary. We made... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and were very pleased with it. The rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated. The hotel is located 4-5 blocks from the main tourist area - aprox. 10 minutes walk. We used the spa - which is about $5 extra for the day (the use of the gym is free) and they... More

I wound up staying at this hotel after fleeing the Gala apart Hotel. The hotel was clean, relatively modern and comfortable. However the best part of my experience were my interations with the staff, particularly Raul at the front desk. He couldn't have been more helpful going out of his way on any request or question. The rest of the... More

Overall I had a decent stay here for $60/night. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate--medialunas, toast, orange juice, and coffee. Wifi in the lobby and breakfast area only. The hotel is not centrally located, and it is maybe about a 15 minute walk to the main area, but we didn't mind since... More

We stayed here 2 nights in a standard double suite. Rooms were really nice, clean and spacious. The only thing that makes it a "suite" is a mini fridge. It seems newly renovated and construction is still underway. We had some jack hammering going on above our room at 10am where debris was even falling unto our bathtub. Construction was... More

We stayed here for two nights. First thing to note is that these are not suites, they are standard bedrooms with a sink and fridge. There is nowhere to cook here. The location is in a bit of a rundown part of town on the side of the bus station although it is cheap to get about by taxi. Staff... More

Our taxi driver mentioned we were in a slightly odd area for a foreign couple to stay, but I rather liked that. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the center, through a slightly run-down area. The reception staff were excellent - friendly and helpful and the breakfast minimal on choice but very tasty. The real surprise was the rooms... More
