Terrible mistake. Will be different next year. We were on the road. Walked across Navajo Bridge. Looked at the scenery. But saw allready so muching during the day. OK; about this lodge. Everything been said. Its calm, clean, not cheap, amazing scenery, good food on the veranda: we had fun. See you next year more

The lodge is definitely just a basic place to stay, no frills or fuss, but it's very clean and comfortable. It's wonderfully quiet and the stars are absolutely beautiful. The view of the cliffs is stunning too. The restaurant is a real treat and a delightful way to spend an evening. Do not miss a meal here: I vote for... more

My wife and I booked 4 days at Cliff Dwellers Lodge in between stays at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon N.P.and Zion N.P. so we could see the area and fish for Rainbow trout on the Colorado river at Glen Canyon. The lodge was the perfect blend of rustic charm and remote calm to counter the the the... more

This lodge is located in the most beautiful red rock , and soaring mesa scenery. The views from the room and the restaurant are magnificant. The food is fabulous. It's delicious, varied, and the nightly specials are gourmet quality and also beautifully presented, all prepared by a master chef. And this place is miles from any city! It's close to... more

Everyone was very friendly. The rooms are basic, but reasonably priced. They had nice wood paneled walls and ceiling. The restaurant was great for breakfast, and I got a big breakfast burrito. The rural setting and breathtaking scenery are unforgettable and quiet at night. more

Room was as clean as you can get an old rustic cabin style room. Bed was very comfortable and surroundings were quiet--so we had a good night sleep. Nice hot shower in the morning with plenty of water pressure--no bath tub. Cable TV and coffee pot in room a plus. Room was very dark as only one standard light worked--flourescent... more

The room was nice, very clean. The view was amazing, right next to the cliffs. There was raw sewage leaching from their drain field! I visited one of the most remote wildernesses in the country and could not believe this, You would think that in this day and age being eco friendly so important, I would think that I wouldn't... more

I hired a professional photographer to take me into wilderness areas for a photography adventure, and he booked me into Cliff Dwellers Lodge. Last year I stayed at the Lee's Ferry Lodge, so can compare the two honestly. Cliff Dwellers is far superior in terms of the restaurant. Cliff Dwellers also has a small store and gas station, which makes... more

This was a lovely little lodge out in the middle of nowhere - just what I was looking for. It's very no frills - I don't think the rooms had phones, though they did have tvs. There is no pool or room service or anything like that, but I don't think that's what most guests are looking for. My room... more
