Stopped in for a fishing trip for 1 night. They opened the restaurant just for us which was much appreciated. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The setting is beautiful and the room was clean, but our one complaint is that the beds were unbearably hard! It was very difficult to have a comfortable night's sleep.... More

Being a keen fly fisherman I decided it might be a good idea to try fishing for trout at Lees Ferry on the Colorado river. After flying into Vegas from England I hired a car and drove up to Cliff dwellers in early November 2011. A rather pleasant journey ( apart from a slightly anxious bit over a snow covered... More

Stayed there in the old building in the rear and don't advise same unless on a strict budget. Rather, stay in the new addition that is quite nice. The restaurant is TOP NOTCH for all meals. I met and complimented the chef while there. She's a star for sure. I believe this spot has the best food in all of... More

Used this as a base of for our travel & sightseeing in the Page area. Rooms are nothing special but were clean and beds good. They outfit Colorado River fishing trips out of here which seemed to be doing a brisk business if your into to that. What really convinced us to stay here were the rave reviews about the... More

this was the unexpected delight of a month long road trip. Not only was the food great and the rustic lodge room perfect, but the service was un be lievable. These people will take you in like long lost friends, and on the full moon or the dark moon, the setting cannot be beat. More

I ate here twice; once on the way to/and on way back to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon from Phoenix. The chicken Philly cheesesteak was fresh and veggies crisp, but it was too dry and lacked seasoning. The cheddar cheese burger with green chiles was awesome (you build your own burgers). Best part? Their sweet potato fries are... More

This will be the third time my husband and I have stayed at Cliff Dwellers, and this time we shared our 'best kept secret' with our friends. We love the desert, and the absence of all things city. It is a 'fishing lodge' so it is what it is. The sheets are clean, the beds comfortable, and beauty abundant. The... More

We arrived @ 1:30 AM (2 hour drive from Flagstaff airport) to find the office closed, but they left the light on in our room so we knew right where to head. The bed was comfy (we ARE picky!) & the pillows were fluffy & just the right firmness. Satellite dish TV service helped us keep up with the weather... More

The husband and I are always going to remember this place. We needed a place to stay after driving from Vegas to the North Rim on our way to the South Rim. We got to Cliff Dwellers after dark, all we knew of the location was that it was the only light we'd seen in two hours of a very... More

We were in the middle of nowhere driving from the Canyon North Rim to Williams and looking for a place for lunch. We stopped at the Cliff Dweller lodge to put gas in the car and thought we'd check out the restaurant thinking it might be a decent roadhouse for a burger and beer. Wow - were we surprised! While...
