After a long three weeks skiing in the Andes we had one night in Buenos Aires and chanced into this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. It felt like home, was comfortable, spacious and very welcoming all four of us enjoyed it immensely. Its centrally located in one of the trendiest suburbs of B.A. Close to transport, shops and restaurants. Will definatly... More

I stayed at Bernarda House with my parents for a couple of nights. What characterized the rooms was the love for detail, very comfy beds and a pleasant quiet ambience. In the morning everybody meets at one big breakfast table (breakfast is served buffet style). Hungry travelers can indulge in "medialunas", cakes, an assortment of breads, fruits, cereals and yogurt.... More

Imagine a truly Argentinean family home, set in happening Palermo Soho. Offering all the comforts needed: from a fresh breakfast in a lovely garden to a plunge in the pool during the day and a good-night sleep in the comfortable beds. Everything is taken care of with great attention. And that also goes for the way Bernarda (and her family)... More

Service was at best cool, and often openly hostile. Irritation of Bernada was obvious from the moment we arrived - at midnight but having warned her that we woud be arriving late - and lasted throughout the stay culimanting with threats of the police for daring to make a complaint on check out. Bedroom was mosquito ridden and there was... More

My wife and I stayed in this place in February for two nights before boarding an Antarctic cruise. When choosing where to stay in Buenos Aires we relied on a well known travel book's description of this place as "quiet, tastefully decorated family home for a relaxing stay..." I am afraid what we found in reality was somehow quite different.... More

We stayed in Buenos Aires for a week, first in San Telmo and then after discovering Palermo, we moved into Bernado House. It was a great experience to see behind the walls of the houses and apartments that line the streets, to have a lived experience of the people that live in this amazing city. The house is beautiful, filled... More

Bernarda House, as it says, is a big, beautiful house. Bernarda offers the rooms and treats you like a guest in her house because that's exactly what it is. A simple breakfast is offered, with delicious juice and jelly, and you can enjoy it in a nice backyard with a pool and flowers. We stayed in a nice room and... More

My friends and I were unable to find a place to stay for a couple of night in Buenos Aires. To our luck we came across Bernada's House. How lucky! This is exactly what we needed. They opened their house to us as we were family. The house felt like our home. It was very clean! We wished we could... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Bernarda House. Bernarda was very friendly, hospitable, and accomodating to all of my needs. I felt that I had a lot of privacy, but at the same time Bernarda was easily accesible in case I had any questions or needed advice about the city. The house has a great location on a quiet block... I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Bernada - it's a classic bed and breakfast with very friendly and helpful owners. The breakfast is freshly prepared and with very flexible hours and staying in a very personally decorated house makes you feel at home. I stayed in a single room which was fine, if a little basic:, and I was... More
