After this we had to wait A WHOLE day on the hotel to get our new room. We were send down in this terrible basement room, which were NOT... More

I stayed in this hotel a whole week, in December of 2012. I reserved the cheapest room at $50 per night, with shared bathroom. Somehow, I did this before reading the reviews online, and when I did (before getting to the hotel), I got scared. Well, I got lucky... When the taxi dropped me at the address, I thought there... We stayed in 1551 Palermo in 2010 while in BA. We were very pleasantly surprised by this unique hotel. it is an old converted bakery. While the outside of the hotel leaves you wondering what you have gotten into. The inside is wonderful. We had a very pleasant stay. So upon our return in 2012 we decided to stay again,... More

Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from everything in Palermo. The street looks à bit odd, but once you are inside the hotel makes up for it. The breakfast was up to Argentinian standards but could be more elaborate.

We stayed at 1551 in mid May for a 3 day period. We stayed in the deluxe room- an absolutely beautiful room with great features such as the jacuzzi and double shower. The exposed brick and open windows make this a lovely place to stay. Staff are really helpful- recomendations and restuarants and directions for navigating the city. The major... More

My husband and I stayed at L'Hotel Palermo in March this year. The overall look of the hotel suited us down to the ground. Lovely reception that felt your hip auntie's front room and a beautiful walk to the bedrooms through ethereal hanging vegetation. The magic continued when we got to our room. It was large, well appointed and had... More

We were given glowing recommendations about this place before leaving Australia. We made the mistake of not making a reservation before leaving so we were glad to find a place in Palermo after a very long flight . However we just had to move out after the first night. Simply not good enough and no hope to get a better... More

The building is fantastic, although it could benefit from some refurbishing. The personnel was very helpful and friendly (even prepared the breakfast for us at 4 am). You get the sensation that you're staying at a private house, with charming rooms and impressive architecture. The hotel is located a bit far from everything, so you always have to take a... More
