The people who run the guest house are most helpful with anything you might need and information on the city. Breakfast is served in the former family dining room. Not a North American breakfast, but rather bread of some kind, coffee, tea, fruit, jam. Once in a while you're offered an egg. Remember, you're in South America people. The room... More

We enjoyed our first nights in B.A. at the Recoleta Guest House. The people were very nice; they even arranged to have a wine tasting session in the dining room for us. The Guest House is within walking distance of many nice shops, restaurants, and sights. We were able to use their computer to book our bus to Bariloche. Overall,... More

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Recoleta Guest House. The central location was perfect for Buenos Aires sight seeing. Nearby restaurants were wonderful! The breakfast was very generous and tasty. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Finally, the rates were remarkable; this was a great place to stay! More

Three old gal pals traveling together were lucky enough to find this fabulous bed and breakfast. The location was perfect for walking to city destinations in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was delicioius! Be sure to ask Alejandro for his corn pie receipe. We will certainly return. More

We stayed at the Recoleta guest-house at the beginning and end of our 3 week Argentina trip and enjoyed our stay tremendously; waking up to the small of freshly baked bread, accompanied by home produced jam for breakfast, how special is that!! As other reviewers mentioned, the owners and staff are very attentive and take great care to make your... More

We spent about 5 nights in the Recoleta Guest House and felt very fortunate to have found this gem in one of the nicest and quietest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Since it is on a uncongested street, there was no street noise so sleeping was a dream. Breakfast was delicious and substantial and the company of the other guests and... More

This is a very nice simple lodging. It is run by a wonderful family. Students run the breakfast in the morning. You can use the microwave for your tea. You can put your label on your food and use the refrig. English is spoken. It is clean. Free internet on second floor of the building.I did get many mosquito bites.... More

We highly recommend this small hotel in Recoleta. It is situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Close to many tourists attractions. Very clean, includes A/C, WiFi and a good breakfast all at a very reasonable price. Rodolfo, the owner, and Beltran, his right hand man, both speak very good English and... More
