We stayed at Ulises Recoleta over the holidays for a total of five nights. The location is absolutely fantastic, within walking distance of everything. Close to the cementery, shopping, plazas... the staff was very nice and accomodating. The breakfast display is a lovely amenity plus they have the best pastries. You must try cafe con leche and the mini alfajores.... More

Outstanding location in Recoleta without the exorbitant price tag or stuffiness of other nearby hotels. Wonderful staff - very warm, helpful and accommodating. More

I stayed at the Ulises for 6 days as it was a cheaper option than my friends' (work paid!) hotel round the corner. Not only great value, the hotel is very clean, breakfast buffet tasty and available up till 11am! Staff are friendly and speak English and the hotel is in a great location, in Recoleta, very handy for sights... More

Our three day stay at Ulises was terrific. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly for USA visitors there was always someone available who spoke English. Plus the. breakfast was very tasty and filling. Hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. However we didn't go out at night, so can't speak to the safety. I would... More

Stayed here our first two nights in Bs As and what a great intro. Recoleta is an upper class area with great shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast, mostly sweet offerings but savoury options, including eggs! The staff were invaluable in helping us with a problem with lost luggage. Nothing was too much trouble even after we had moved on. Highly... More

The hotel is very well located, moderately priced, friendly staff. Breakfast is included and pretty good. Bathrooms are small, but rooms are comfortably sized. However, did not get warned about how dangerous the area has become, frequent robberies, as we personally experienced at 10 am on a Saturday, in front of Patio Bullrich, the most exclusive mall in the city.... The rooms were very moderately priced given the location. Maid service was impeccable. The breakfast was simple, but just what we needed to give a base of energy for a long day of roaming the city. Can walk to retiro, el centro, and palermo, which I think are the most interesting and worthwhile neighborhoods for both tourists and locals alike.... More

Not a boutique hotel, nor a Bed and Breakfast with kitchenette. Small cordial hotel, with nice people and EXCELLENT Breakfast with tiny pastry. it´s THE HIGH of the Hotel LOWS: EXTEMLY slow elevator, that is someone left the door open, will never arrive!!!.Rooms have Kitchenette and store doors to hide the kitchen stuff. Everything else is average (TV, BED; Furniture).... More

Recoleta is the nicest part of BA. Hotel is close to cemetery, cafes, shops, museums, tho not to metro. Lobby could be better but typical 4 large-city hotel. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. More
