We stayed at the Art Hotel for 8 days while visiting our son. The location is close to a major street (Santa Fe) so we had complete access to shopping, cafes, subway, taxis. Our travel agent in Australia booked us into the Art Hotel as the first stop on a 5 week around the world trip....and what a great way to start it turned out to be. Art Hotel is a nice small hotel in a good location, close to tourist areas in Buenos Aires. It's an old building which has been renovated using most of the features of the old building. Even though the rooms are a bit small they are nice decorated to make you feel at home. Staff are really nice ready to help... more

Our cozy (yes, very small) twin had a bathroom door that wouldn't close (allowing the other lady to sleep in) so when we returned from dinner the staff solved our problem by giving us a second room at no extra charge! We spent 3 nights here and expected more than we got. The hotel is located in a very good location, but the rooms are very small (we booked a "King" room) and sparse and their prices are very high.
